Globe Valves

Globe valves are engineered to BS 1873 and ASME B16.34 standards, featuring a bolted bonnet, outside screw and yoke (OS&Y), and a precision swivel disc design for superior throttling control. These heavy-duty units are optimized for severe service, ensuring long-term reliability in refinery, chemical, power, and pipeline applications. The product line covers the full range of nominal diameters and pressure ratings. Available in a wide variety of cast and forged metallurgies, these valves provide robust performance across extreme temperature gradients. Their design prioritizes structural integrity and leak-proof sealing for the most demanding fluid handling systems.

Design Features & Core Benefits

Swivel Disc & Guided Travel

Swivel disc and guided stem design provide stable seating, reduced vibration and reliable throttling performance across the full stroke.

Robust Body–Bonnet Sealing

Graphite or spiral-wound gaskets for Class 150–600 and ring-type joints for Class 900 and above provide reliable body–bonnet sealing at high temperature and pressure.

Stellite-Hardfaced Seats & Disc

Seat and disc hardfaced with Stellite 6 are standard, delivering long service life in severe throttling and isolation duties.

Blowout-Proof Stem & Backseat

Tapered backseat and blowout-proof stem design allow safe packing maintenance in the fully open position and protect against stem ejection.

Wide Material & Trim Range

Full cast steel and stainless range (WCB, LCB/LCC, WC6/WC9, C5, C12, C12A, CF8/CF8M/CF3/CF3M, CN7M) with trims per BS 1873 / API 623 for sour, low-temperature and high-temperature duties.

Serviceability & Interchangeability

Standardized parts, renewable seats and accessible internals simplify maintenance and reduce lifecycle cost for operators and EPCs.
