Industrial Flange Sealing Gaskets
High-performance metallic, semi-metallic, and soft gaskets engineered for leak-free flange integrity. Designed for critical piping service with full compatibility for ASME B16.5 and API 6A flanges.
Advanced Sealing Features and Advantages
Spiral Wound Performance
Spiral wound gaskets can be fabricated in a variety of styles, sizes, and densities using any metal available in thin strip, meaning they can be used against virtually any corrosive medium dependent upon the choice of the metal and filler. Spiral wound gaskets can be used over the complete temperature range, from cryogenic to approximately 1500ºF (815ºC) and up to 2000ºF (1093ºC) under certain conditions. This type of gasket can be used in all pressures, from vacuum to the standard 2500 pressure class flange ratings.
Corrugated Metal Gasket
corrugated metal gasket (CMG) family of products are considered the standard in corrugated metal gasket technology. They are an excellent choice for 150 and 300 class ASME B16.5 flanges where available bolt loading is minimal. These gaskets’ substrate geometry promotes recovery and resilience through thermal cycles as well as extended service life. Corrugated metal gaskets can replace spiral wound gaskets and eliminate inward buckling while sealing at moderate flange stresses. Available in a range of substrate alloys and covering layer options, CMGs feature a specific pitch and core thickness engineered to overcome problems associated with joint relaxation, pressure and thermal cycles. This product family also includes high temperature gasket options.
Kammprofile Technology
Kammpro gaskets provide a solution for heat exchangers, large vessels, and equipment that experience excessive movement due to thermal expansion. The Kammpro provides one of the tightest seals combined with superior load bearing characteristics, making it an effective upgrade for applications where standard spiral wound gaskets, double jacketed designs, and corrugated metal gaskets are commonly used. Kammpro style gaskets are produced by applying precisely machined serrations over rigid metal substrates. Covering layers of flexible graphite or PTFE also add conformability and minimum seating capability.
Metal Jacketed Gasket
metal jacketed gaskets can be manufactured to a variety of configurations. These gaskets typically feature a non-asbestos, high temp gasket material filler sufficient for applications up to 900°F (482°C). Other soft fillers are available for higher temperatures or special applications. Standard metals used to make jacketed gaskets are aluminum, copper, brass steel, nickel, Monel®, Inconel®, and stainless steel types 304, 316, 321, 347, 410. Jacket metal choice depends on the service conditions being encountered.
Ring Type Joint (RTJ)
Precision-machined metallic gaskets for high-pressure API and ASME flanges; ensures a robust metal-to-metal seal for heavy-duty upstream and high-temperature refinery systems.
Sheet & Soft Gaskets
Premium PTFE and elastomer-based materials ensure chemical inertness for general service; simplifies maintenance and eliminates the risk of media contamination in piping.
